Pay for how much you use it. Nothing else.
Every plan gets the same private memory, the same controls, and the same privacy. Plans differ in one honest way: how much you can talk to it. One subscription covers the iPhone app and the web.

Prices in USD. The free trial runs 10 days from the day you create your account, once per person. We do not ask for a card to start it and nothing charges automatically: when the trial ends, chatting and adding to your memory pause until you choose a plan, and you can still sign in, export your memory, or delete your account at any time. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled; cancel anytime in Settings and your plan runs through the end of the period you paid for. Message counts are averages: conversations vary in length, so your exact daily number depends on how you use it. Subscribe on the web or inside the iPhone app; either way, one subscription works everywhere you use Tessera. Terms · Privacy
Billing questions
Tessera pricing and billing questions
The fine print, in plain language.
Is Tessera free?
Tessera is free for your first 10 days, and we do not ask for a card to start. After that it is a paid subscription starting at $19.99 per month. There is no permanently free tier. The trial is 10 days of real daily use rather than a stripped-down version, and nothing charges automatically when it ends: you choose a plan, or you do not.
What happens if I hit my daily limit?
You can keep reading everything, and your memory stays fully available. Chatting resumes the next day, or you can upgrade to a bigger plan whenever you want.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in Settings, in about three taps. Your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, and your memory remains yours either way: export it or erase it whenever you like.
Does one subscription cover the iPhone app and the web?
Yes. Subscribe once, on either surface, and your plan follows your account everywhere you sign in.
What does the free trial include?
Ten days of real daily use, the full memory experience, and every privacy control. It is smaller than the paid plans, not stripped: you see and control everything Tessera remembers from the first day.
Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. We do not collect payment information to begin your trial, and nothing charges automatically when it ends. You are only ever charged if you choose a plan and buy it yourself.
What happens when the trial ends?
Chatting and adding to your memory pause until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted. You can still sign in, read everything Tessera remembers, request a full copy of it, or delete your account entirely, whether or not you subscribe.
How does Tessera compare to using an AI app directly?
When you use a single AI app on its own, whatever it remembers about you lives inside that one product. You usually cannot see all of it, you cannot take it with you, and it is gone the day you switch. Tessera keeps the memory on your side of the conversation: one memory you can read line by line, edit, export, or erase, handed to whichever of several leading AI models you pick for the question in front of you. One subscription covers those models, instead of a separate one for each app. The full comparison, including where a single app is fine.
